Met a lot of cool people that night and the presentations were very interesting.

Presentations were either lame or irrelevant. In the room it was too loud to talk.

Nathan's rap rocked the house. Nice event, Jon, would love to have more of these.

Not as informative as I expected. Kind of disappointed actually.

I loved both speakers, and met a few people I know as well as some new contacts. Great crowd!

This was a real disappointment. I thought this was about the mechanics of wealth creation not a general overview of VC process and the basics that everyone already knows. In the future stick to what you are good at which is building and monetizing games. I was not the only one that felt this way.

The talks were really insightful, from the views of an investor on how to build value to an entrepreneur who has sold a company before. Also the networking part was really great again this time.

The discussion Panel was composed of really intelligent people with a lot of information about the topic. Cool attendees. Good stuff.

It was a great panel. Learned some very cool new info and it was a wonderful way to network

Informative and a good range of speakers. Fairly hard to hear from just past half way back (near bar). Restlessness and chatter towards the end overwhelmed the loudspeaker system. A good experience, but a bit too chaotic with so many in a tight space.

Great crowd, but a really agonising presentation setup; 111 Minna just isn't good for presentations, it seems. They couldn't raise the volume to a point (without getting feedback) where I could hear in the (near) back, and of course the people talking just behind me (because they couldn't hear at all, to be fair to them) didn't help. I ended up skipping out for dinner and coming back for drinks with some of the great folks you'd invited. So the crowd; awesome, but the presentation setup still needs work. Unfortunately I don't have a great suggestion, here. On the content, I didn't think much (well, I couldn't hear it) of the stilted panel, and preferred the 'rant' format of last time, but I do think that experimenting with different types of presentation is a good idea. Overall I think this is a service to the community and thanks for putting it on!

Around 6:20, the venue filled up so much, that no one in the back could hear the speakers, even before people started talking. Is there a way to seat this venue differently? Or provide a video link to the back of room? People would have honestly been quieter if they could have seen/heard the panel... Great group of folks all around. Please keep these events going! There is a huge need for them in social gaming and hopefully a future panel can be about real lessons learned from virtual economies... (vs. marketing pitches).

We need a better venue! It's so difficult to hear in that venue. How about The Mighty on Utah street?

I thought the meeting was spot on for what I was interested in. My current focus is understanding the ecology of the monetization process in the context of online games. The speakers confirmed what are already knew and provided some real gems that will help me to further develope our online game platform. Virtual currency in particular is a fascinating area that is changing and evolving at an extremely rapid rate. This is occurring organically with many people in the industry not realizing the significant influence of this phenomena on the real economy. The question and answer period was great because it caused some light bulbs to go off about the evolution of Virtual Currency. This all ties into the evolution of the web as described in my blog item on Web 3.0 http://kevinflood.blogspot.com/2009/02/how-will-web-30-change-your-life.html

Fun meeting with lots of attendees - all interesting people - and relevant panelists with practical knowledge. The sponsor, Super Rewards, was warmly represented by Jessie. Conversation was challenging because of the noise level, and the panel sometimes had to speak over noise at the back, but it was far from impossible.
