JAMES CURRIER is the Founder and CEO Ooga Labs, a technology greenhouse based in downtown San Francisco involved in social gaming. He founded and ran Tickle in 1999 and sold it to Monster in 2004. Prior to that, James was an investor with Battery Ventures. James has been an angel investor in Flickr, Grouper, Affinity Labs, Maya's Mom, RepairPal, and GoodReads. James currently serves on the board of Second Life and has his MBA from Harvard.
SAAR GUR is a Investor at Charles River Ventures specializing in social media and advertising. He is known for deep knowledge of online games and currencies and being a great guy. He was formerly a VP at Adteractive, and has his MBA from Stanford.
Currier and Gur will outline how wealth is typically generated in new technology or consumer spaces, and how we as a community can benefit from these historical patterns in the next few years.
